Sunkanmi Badejo (born January 22) is a Nigerian TV/Filmmaker, Music Executive, A & R who was born into the family of Mr & Mrs K.A Badejo in Lagos state and grew up with 3 siblings. Sunkanmi Badejo went to St. John Anglican Primary School for his First School Leaving Certificate and proceeded to Deyo Tuwo Comprehensive High School. Some challenges came up because of his friends and couldn’t start his university education immediately after high school. He discovered his acting talent when he was in primary 6 and since then the passion for filmmaking keeps growing.His uncle called him to know about his future plan after he lost his father, but was not in support of being a filmmaker in the first place, yet he didn’t give up because of his passion for filmmaking but later saw the goodness in the profession and now very proud of him. The filmmaker loved to be in the Nigeria Army, which his mother went against it. He furthered more on his education but in line with his blazing passion for drama. He went to Sword of Excellence Drama-Film University (SEDU) Ibadan in Oyo state. He started as a play-writer, scriptwriter and script supervisor, but presently he is a film producer and a director.He got an award as best drama minister Arena Of Victory 2013.

Filmmaker Sunkanmi Badejo has worked with a lot of directors and producers like Okiki Afolayan, Femi Adewale, Toka Mcbaror, Shyna, Lanre Adediwura, Sarafdeen Alao, Tido Razzy, Osokoya Oladele, Olumide Akinkunmi, Akin Alabi. The filmmaker is presently working on a big project coming out soon titled “ORISA“. He has featured and been part of the following productions:
